Gift presentation program for ethnic minority communities in Don Duong – Lam Dong
Thus, after more than two years of being impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, Kien Vuong's journey of sharing love has rolled forward once again, reaching remote and difficult areas that need community support. On July 24th, Kien Vuong collaborated with the Youth Union of the Lam Dong Provincial Police to organize a gift distribution program for underprivileged ethnic minority households in Tu Tra Commune, Don Duong District.

Kien Vuong group presented at the gift gathering point early in the morning to distribute the gifts. Each person single-handedly prepared 200 gifts including rice, cooking oil, soup powder, confectionery... for disadvantaged households in Tu Tra commune

People and children gathered at the village hall before the time
Tu Tra Commune is an ethnic minority area in Don Duong District. The majority of residents belong to the K'Ho, Chil, and Churu ethnic groups. Local livelihoods primarily rely on agriculture (growing rice, coffee, and crops, as well as raising livestock and poultry) and fishing along streams and rivers. Dependent largely on nature, their daily lives remain full of hardships and deprivation. The destination for the Kien Vuong delegation this time was two villages, Ro Lom and Hawai, located nearly 20 kilometers from the district center. Although the road into the villages still has unpaved, uneven stretches that become slippery and muddy on rainy days, it is generally somewhat better off compared to the mountain trails leading to high-altitude villages that Kien Vuong has traversed in the past.

With the support of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Public Security Youth Union, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Public Security Women's Union, the Executive Committee of the PX03 Division and the local Red Cross Society, the gift giving program was carried out quickly.
The program in which Kien Vuong participated alongside the Youth Union of the Lam Dong Provincial Police this time was part of the 2022 'Green March' campaign, joining hands for the community and celebrating the 12th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Lam Dong Provincial Police. The program presented 200 gift packages to disadvantaged households, each consisting of 10 kg of rice, essential goods, candies, and other supplies."

Besides, knowing that due to the difficult economic situation, many households are not eligible for periodic health check-ups, especially during the current complicated epidemic period. Kien Vuong also donated some necessary medicines to the family medicine cabinet for backup in urgent cases.

It is hoped that with the support and companionship of the Youth Union of the Lam Dong Provincial Police, the residents of Tu Tra Commune enjoyed a Sunday filled with joy and gained added motivation to strive for a better life.
