GIVEAWAY PROGRAM: BACK TO THE HIGHLANDS NAM PO

11/11/2022

After many days of preparation, the program "Back to the highlands" jointly organized by Kien Vuong and Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union was successfully held on October 28. As the information shared with the Kien family, this time Kien Vuong's destination is a highland border school in Dien Bien province - Vang Dan Primary School - Secondary School, Vang Dan Commune, Nam Po District .

The whole Vang Dan ETHNIC Primary and Secondary School has 900 primary and junior high school students, the school that KV gives gifts to in this phase is the learning place for 351 junior high school students, including 311 students. part-time birth. This spacious new school was built with the help of sponsors and a part of the local budget.

On this day 5 years ago, Kien Vuong visited Dien Bien and gave more than 1000 gifts to students at 3 schools: Quai Nua Secondary School, No. 1 Quai Nua Primary School and No. 2 Quai Nua Primary School, Tuan Giao district. This trip was still connected with the Provincial Youth Union and with the support of Nam Po District Youth Union so that the gifts could be given to disadvantaged students in Vang Dan commune. Besides 351 gifts including warm clothes, slippers, notebooks and candies, there are also 157 cotton blankets and 4 6000 liter water tanks to ensure the supply of clean water to the school.

Each person single-handedly distributes gifts in small portions before the program begins.

Welcoming the Kien Vuong delegation, besides teachers and students, there were also officials from Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union, Nam Po District Youth Union and soldiers from the border post.

The 4 water tanks given by Kien Vuong are used to store clean water from wells at the commune committee, about 1km from the school. From now on, teachers and students no longer have to worry about lack of water for daily living, cooking and washing.

Through the pictures above, it can be seen that the school's facilities are somewhat more spacious than most schools in the highlands that Kien Vuong has ever gone through. Perhaps this is also a good sign, showing that these children in the remote highlands still receive care and support from sponsors and benefactors. And Kien Vuong is still willing to contribute a part of his energy to join hands with the community to build upland children a fuller learning and development environment. Although we know that there are still many difficult schools, many children are still disadvantaged, but we still have faith that one day, not far away, there will be more solid schools built along this northern highland land. To make the path to find the children's letters less arduous. Farewell to Dien Bien, Kien Vuong's journey will continue to roll, wherever he needs help, both physically and mentally.

The vegetable garden is planted and cared for by the students themselves to improve their daily meals.

There is so much more to tell about the recent journey, see you all in another post to share more!
