On April 5, BASF Vietnam cooperated with Kien Vuong to conduct a seminar under the main theme of "Diversity and innovation to adjust your needs" at Novotel Saigon Hotel. , District 3, HCMC.

The seminar features Mr. Tanachart Ralsiripong - General Director of BASF Vietnam, Dr. Annagret Welzel - Head of Pharmaceutical Raw Materials Department Asia Pacific and the main speaker of the seminar, Mr. Umakanth Kanna - Head of BASF Technical Services in Asia Pacific.


The seminar also featured Mr. Nguyen Tuan Cuong - General Director, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thanh Trung - Vice General Director of ; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hoai Phat, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Khoa (Business Development); Ms. Nguyen Viet Toan, Ms. Nguyen Viet Tuan, Ms. Le Thi Le Uyen, Ms. Tran Thi Minh Hien (Pharmaceutical Sales Team), along with nearly 90 guests from pharmaceutical companies, multivitamin manufacturers as well as other distinguished guests of Kien Vuong.


At the seminar, guests are provided with additional information on BASF’s latest solutions and technological applications that the manufacturer has developed, which help customers build long-term strategic plan. BASF’s technician Umakanth has introduced the guests new and improved applications of excipients that can be used in instant release medicines, as well as applications that solve insoluble API and matters relate to pH level.



The highlight of this seminar is the introduction of BASF’s new manufacturing plant for PVP in Shanghai, China. The movement of the new plant in China will provide customers top quality ingredients and products with competitive prices.


Through the seminar, Kien Vuong wishes to tighten not only the relationship with the manufacturer but also to build a bridge between BASF and the customers, creating values added to Kien Vuong, BASF and all pharmaceutical customers in Vietnam. Furthermore, this seminar is also a chance for Kien Vuong to establish new relationships with future customers.   


The seminar has received a lot of positive feedbacks from the manufacturer as well as the customers. The reviews and questions that customers have raised during the seminar has provided Kien Vuong a better view and understanding about customers’ concerns, which are the foundations that Kien Vuong can use to support the customers and tighten up relationship with the manufacturer and the customers.
